LEE COUNTY, Fla.- The mother of two Estero children that went missing earlier this summer, sparking a massive man hunt, found out her fate in front of a Lee County judge this morning.

Rachel Davis took a plea deal and the judge sentenced her to 60 months probation for child neglect. She wasn't watching her two children and they wondered off on June 24th.

Davis was emotional in court and shed tears as she had to admit before the court that she did neglect both her children on that June afternoon.

Terms of her probation include attending and successfully completing a parenting class, continuing to follow the custody plan set forth by DCF and submitting herself to an evaluation within 30 days.

Davis will be released from the Lee County Jail.

There's been no word yet on when exactly she may be able to see her children or get them back.
