Fort Myers, FL.-Fort Myers police are searching for a car involved in a deadly hit and run Friday night.

Saturday morning, police identified the pedestrian hit and killed as 68 year-old Thomas De-Soto. Police are still searching for the driver and vehicle involved. At 10 p.m. Friday, police responded to a car verse pedestrian at Fowler Street and Simpson Street.

Officers searched the area for the suspect's car for nearly an hour but found nothing. The suspect's car is described as a brown or gold colored, four-door sedan. The vehicle should have extensive windshield and front end damage.
