FORT MYERS, Fla - Scary moments Saturday morning, after a driver drove her SUV through the lawn and into the Salvation Army Church at 10291 McGregor Boulevard.

The Lee County Sheriff's office is investigating to figure out exactly what happened but extensive damage was caused to the outside and inside of the building.

No one was seriously injured and the driver walked away from the crash. The church is just thankful this happened when it did and not Sunday, when the building is full of people.

11:00 a.m. worship services for this Sunday have been moved to the Red Shield Lodge, at 2400 Edison Avenue.
