LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- Lee County Domestic Animal Services is investigating a dog found neglected on Tuesday in the area of 33rd St. W.

The male, brown and white, Florida Curr mix was severely emaciated with prominent ribs and hip bones protruding. He also was found dragging a ten-foot chain, attached to his collar.

Anyone who recognizes this dog or has information regarding his owner is asked to call Animal Services at 239-533-7387, ext. 2, or contact Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS. Lee County Domestic Animal Services accepts anonymous complaints.
