BONITA SPRINGS, Fla.- Lee County Sheriff's detectives are searching for three men that committed an armed home invasion robbery last Wednesday night in The Colony.

Deputies responded to the 23000 block of Tuscany Way just after 11:00 p.m. The victims were awoken by three Hispanic males standing at the side of their bed. A struggle ensued between the male victim and two of the suspects, which resulted in the victim being shocked with a stun gun and then ordered to the ground at gunpoint. The victim’s arms and legs were bound together.

The suspects asked where the money and jewelry was located inside the home. The victims complied and the suspects left with approximately $22,500 in jewelry and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Two of the more unique pieces taken were a very distinct gold bracelet with Giraffe hair woven into it and a gold choker necklace with elephant hair. A men’s Rolex watch and some additional jewelry was also taken. After the suspects obtained the items requested they left the residence. The victims remained tied up inside the residence until located by responding deputies.

The suspects are described as three Hispanic males, 5’6’’-5’9’’, about 175lbs, wearing masks and gloves. The suspects all spoke Spanish.
