CAPE CORAL Fla.- A painful night for a group of lawn care workers. Four of them were swarmed and stung by hundreds of bees.

It happened on Southeast 47th Terrace in Cape Coral off Santa Barbara Boulevard and Cape Coral Parkway.

"It was horrible," said Josh Kincler with PhatGrass Lawn Care.

Kincler and his team of three other guys got a viscious surprise Wednesday while mowing a lawn..

"All of the sudden I see two of my guys go running,  then I realize they are swatting at bees," said Kincler.

Their lawn mower ran over a beehive and out of nowhere hundreds of bees attacked.

"Thats when I start getting swarmed," said Kincler.

The insects even flew inside their clothes and stung them  all over hundreds of times.

Two of those crew members are highly allergic to bees and the attack could have been deadly.

One victim tells WINK News for the most part everyone is doing ok.
