CAPE CORAL, Fla.- A suspect in a 2013 attempted murder in Southwest Cape Coral has been sentenced to prison.

Jonathan Edwards pled guilty to attempted second degree murder with a firearm and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, followed by 10 years probation.

Edwards was arrested days after a shooting in the 500 block of SW 47th Terrace left then 20-year-old Jamar Martin in critical condition.
