Naples, Fla. - Special Olympics Collier County held their first competition Saturday.

It was sun and fun at the 2014 County Aquatic Games.

Swimmers raised to finish at the River Park Aquatic Center.

Everyone went home a winner, scoring some sort of prize.

There were 15 events to choose from.

"You want to see the truest form of competition, the spirit of competion,watch our games, because thy are truly happy when they win," said Director David McKenzie.

McKenzie said the next stop for the atheltes is Sarasora, where they'll compete in a special Olympics tournament.
