BONITA SPRINGS, Fla.,- Governor Rick Scott is in Southwest Florida and he has just made the biggest jobs announcement since he's been in office. The Governor's announcement got him a lot of applause and a lot of praise from those in attendance for the work he has done since he's been in office. Today, he announced 37,000 jobs were added in June, that's the biggest jobs increase since he has been Governor.

Governor Scott also said the unemployment numbers continue to go down. Florida is under the national average at 6.2%. The Governor made it a point to mention that Floridians want to work. When he travels he says the most important things he hears are... "I like my job" or "I want to work. The Governor has also eliminated over 2,500 regulations that used to keep businesses from coming to Florida.

Now, the Governor also honored seven veterans who work at Shaw Development, where the announcement was held. Those seven were given the Governors Veterans Service Award and he also thanked them for their service.
