NAPLES, Fla.- Victoria Wilcher, the 3-year-old whose story made national headlines, has arrived in Naples to meet with a doctor donating a prosthetic eye. She was mauled by her grandfather's pit bulls.

Her story went viral when her grandmother said the two were kicked out of a Mississippi KFC because an employee told them the little girls scars were disturbing customers.

When Raymond Peters of the Center for Custom Prosthetics in Naples heard the story, he wanted to help.

He offered to donate a prosthetic eye to the little girl, which would normally cost $1,500-$4,500. She'll need a new one very six months to a year because she is so young.

KFC investigated the claim and could not find any evidence to support the grandmother's story. However, Peters says he is still committed to make the prosthetic, and help change Victoria's life.
