NAPLES, Fla. -- Two crashes on I-75 early Friday morning lead to the arrest of a person driving under the influence of alcohol. Around midnight, the Florida Highway Patrol says a taxi somehow crashed near mile marker 112; only the taxi was involved.
The second crash, troopers say, was also caused by a drunk driver and traffic backup because of the initial crash. At least two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Troopers arrested a man in his younger 20s for DUI. Three cars in all suffered heavy damage.
