CAPE CORAL, Fla.- People across Cape Coral spotted a funnel cloud this afternoon.
Most people spotted the cloud near the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River.
A resident captured the storm on video.
"...And then it slowly made its way down Matlacha Pass. Then, it started taking a turn, which I assumed it was coming up the river, and then it got to about here and it finally dissapated. It took about 10 minutes. It was really neat," said Bruce Baker.
Baker said he's never seen a funnel cloud that close before, and he's glad it didn't get any closer.
