LEE COUNTY, Fla. - It was a disturbing drive for a Lee County woman. She tells WINK News she spotted a man on I-75 in a red Honda car masturbating, smiling and waving at her to follow.

It happened Monday afternoon near the Martin Luther King Boulevard exit which is mile marker 138 in Fort Myers. They both got off the exit. Horrified, she called 911. "He turned right off of the highway and turned into the next convenience store and was waving at me as if I was going to follow him into the parking lot," the woman, who asked not to be identified, told WINK News.

She spotted him one more time on Lee Boulevard before he disappeared. But, not before she got his tag number. "I'm furious," her husband said. "If I would've seen the guy's car, I would have confronted him and taken things into my own hands. It is just not right. It shouldn't be happening."

She said she didn't get a good look at the man, but recalled him appearing to be in his mid-20s with short brown hair. With the suspect still out there, she worries he'll target other women.

"He was disgusting and perverted and if he could do something so brazen on the highway at 70 miles and hour, what else could he do?" she said. "It scares me. It worries me about this guy, who knows what he could do to someone else?"

The incident report says the responding deputy was unable to locate him. WINK News contacted the Lee County Sheriff's Office to find out about their progress on the case. We've not heard back.
