COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- Only WINK News was there just moments after this mother, nursing her injuries with a frozen water bottle was attacked by a desperate crook in a Collier County park.

"I want people to know he hit me."

The victim tells only WINK News, she was jogging and pushing her daughter in a stroller Monday afternoon. That's when the attacker, with curly hair and piercing blue eyes, jumped out, demanded money then beat her with a baseball bat. The victim, clearly shaken up, had this warning for others.

"I was attacked in East Naples park there's a guy out there so be careful," she said.

The Sheriff's Office said the suspect is a man in his early 20's, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build, blond curly hair that comes down to his ears and blue eyes.

The victim tells WINK News, the crook got away with her cell phone.

Other parents at the park tell me they're concerned something like this might happen again.

"I try not to come to late to avoid things like that so yeah it's scary to see and to know that it's happening as early as 2:30. It's scary, I don't know if I want to come back."
