COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- Rebeca Seitz remembers the day she gave a Hollywood film producer a tour of Naples.

"They say you have a little mini LA here. You have a Santa Monica Pier. You have a Malibu area. You have a downtown area and they're right we do."

Now she's hoping other producers will get hooked on Southwest Florida. Seitz is the CEO of the Spirit of Naples. A non-profit organization that wants to build a $30 million studio where movie-makers can create their work from start to finish. We're talkng casting, shootig, and editing with our area as a backdrop.

"Sixty thousand square feet of box actual studio space and 40,000 feet of support space. So offices, green rooms, post production," said Seitz.

Seitz tells us this dream could create hundreds of jobs in our area and create a constant flow of money into the economy.

"Most of what we have is very seasonal there is nothing seasonable about a studio it runs year round 365 days a year, if you want it to. So it's great jobs for us."

The Spirit of Naples is working with local leaders to find a spot for the studio. The goal is to have it ready by 2018,

"We don't think we've found the exact perfect property yet were still looking so that's part of why we started going to the media because there's somebody here that knows about some property, they just don't know that we're looking for it."
