BRADENTON, Fla.- Bradenton Police have arrested two Southwest Florida men, after a three-week-long investigation wherein undercover detectives pretended to be teens chatting online with the suspects. 

John Westley Boyette, 47, of Fort Myers; and Michael Anthony Hernandez, 39, of Naples are both accused of traveling separately to Bradenton to have sex with a person they each believed was 14 years old.

Hernandez allegedly traveled from Naples to Bradenton on June 10th, while Boyette is accused of traveling there on June 14th.

Hernandez faces the following charges:

-Travel to Meet a Minor Felony 2nd

-Attempted Lewd and Lascivious Battery Felony 2nd

-Transmission of Harmful Material to a Minor Felony 3rd

-Certain uses of Computer Services or devices prohibited Felony 3rd

Boyette faces the following charges:

-Travel to Meet a Minor Felony 2nd

-Lewd and Lascivious Conduct Felony 2nd

-Attempted Lewd and Lascivious Battery Felony 3rd

-Certain uses of Computer Services or Devices Prohibited Felony 3rd
