FORT MYERS, FL.--P.F. Chang's acknowledged a possible breach of its computer system, allowing hackers to steal information from thousands of debit and credit cards.

According to a cyber-security blogger who uncovered last year's major attack at Target, this new breach at P.F. Chang's happened between March and May.
The stolen information could now be for sale on the online black market.

"When the target one came out I told everyone get ready because this is going to be the year of the breach," said identity theft expert Carrie Kerskie.

Kerskie says if you paid with plastic at the restaurant over the last few months, thieves could have your information now and strike at any moment.

"What you need to do is go ahead and call your bank or call your credit card company and tell them you were a shopper and visited P.F. Chang's and just ask for a new card," she said.

P.F. Chang's released a statement:
"P.F. Chang's takes these matters very seriously and is currently investigating the situation, working with the authorities to learn more. We will provide an update as soon as we have additional information."
