COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - A Collier County man, accused of killing his wife and son, has died while awaiting trial on first degree murder charges.

The Collier County Sheriff's Office said Jose Suazo died Tuesday of natural causes, while in hospice care. He was accused of killing his wife, Johanna, and 18-year-old son, Joseph, back in 2013.

According to brand new documents obtained just this month, Suazo told friends his wife was having an affair, and that he could not take the mistreatment anymore. In those same documents, friends say Suazo claimed that Joseph may not have been his.
