SAN CARLOS, Fla - Roger Medina confirmed Wednesday that he was in the San Carlos Park home of his brother Sunday night when Sonny Medina shot and killed his partner of 12 years and three daughters according to our partners at the News-Press.

"Yes, I was in the house," he said in a phone interview. Adding, "I really don't feel comfortable talking about this more."

For the past three days, the memorial outside the Phlox Drive home continues to grow.

It was no different Wednesday afternoon as neighbors came to pay their respects, bringing fresh flowers and balloons. On Sunday, deputies say enrique medina shot his girlfriend, Maria Navas, and the three girls, then turned the gun on himself.

Suicide notes and a 911 call show Medina thought he failed at everything, but to two women who just met medina at the park with his girls last week, none of it makes sense.

"Didn't seem like a guy who would do such a thing. He was actually playing with the little one, and taking pictures, and recording," said Selena Lopez, a neighbor.

They say Medina even asked them to take pictures for him.

Maria's family has set up an account to help collect money for funeral costs at area Wells Fargo banks.

It is under the account name, Maria Antonia Navas Family Fund.
