ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla.- Authorities are searching for the suspect accused of robbing Chase Bank, located at 7800 Gall Blvd. in Zephyrhills, on May 19.

At approximately 9:12 a.m., an unidentified man entered the bank, armed with a handgun. The robber held three employees at gun point and instructed one of the employees to fill a bag with money. The robber shot a round into the floor near the employee’s feet as a warning to fill the bag faster. The robber threatened the other employees by pointing the handgun at their faces. The robber subsequently fled the bank on foot.

Witnesses observed a individual matching the robber’s description entering a dark colored late model (1998 to 2006) four-door Honda Civic. The vehicle was driven by another unidentified man (possibly a getaway driver) only described as an older white male.

The robber was described as a white male, approximately in his early 20s, standing 5’-9” to 6’-0 and weighing about 140 to 160 lbs. The suspect had red hair and wore a black theatrical mask.
