COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- The evening heat didn't stop hundreds of people from packing Mercato in North Naples Friday night.

"I think it's great for the city of Naples, all of southwest Florida, having a big band like OAR."

Local businesses tell WINK News it's a big boost for their brand.

"Of course we want trial, we want people to see the brand, enjoy it, and kind of have a good experience and associate it with our product," said Mark Eisenacher, the Director of Marketing for Back to Nature.

Eisenacher said he was shocked by the concert's turnout.

"The Mercato is sort of the center of commerce for Naples. We almost can't even give away product, it's too full," Eisenacher said.

For these two teenagers, it's something fun for them to do with their friends on a Friday night.

"This is new for us, but we like it."

The event was free and the main act, music group OAR.

"It's absolutely cool."

To make sure everyone stays safe, the North Naples Fire Department and the Collier County Sheriff's Office were on hand keeping an eye on everyone. The Sheriff's Office were on hand keeping an eye on everyone and said deputies on bicycles patrolled the area. And concertgoers hope there is more to come.

"It'd be great if they brought out bands that we all listen to, my generation and a little bit older as well."
