BONITA SPRINGS, Fla.- In the last week, we've shown you bears in Cape Coral, North Fort Myers and now, inside of a gated Bonita Springs neighborhood.

The bear was last spotted at Village Walk. It got through security, through the construction gate.

Witnesses said it's as if he knew his way around the neighborhood. It made its way into several backyards, and snuck up on a couple of men working on a screen behind one of the houses.

Witnesses said the bear looked frightened, but was still getting a little too close to some people, so one man stepped in.

"When I saw those people walking, I kind of wanted to warn them, so when I corralled him down the street, they had time to run back to their house," said Frank Rubinelli, a witness.

"...was just kind of trotting and all of a sudden, when I came up behind him, I think he kind of realized, 'I'm in trouble,' so he started just running," said Lisa Neal, another witness.

His last stop was along a wall, where he then ran across the road to the woods. Many people said this was the first time they had ever seen anything like it.
