CAPE CORAL, Fla. - 70 years ago, the tide of world war two was changed by the largest invasion in history. More than 150,000 Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy and liberated France from Nazi Germany.

People paid their respects to the heroes of D-Day around the world and here in southwest Florida. WINK News reporter Ryan Kruger has the story of one man who fought that day and continues his fight for veterans.
