LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested 38-year-old Raul Flores yesterday after he was allegedly caught smoking marijuana in a car with an infant and a teenager inside.

A deputy stopped the vehicle he was riding in at Old 41 Rd. and Goodwin St., after seeing smoke coming from the passenger window. The deputy approached the vehicle and immediately smelled burnt marijuana. He reportedly saw Flores attempting to stuff something in between the seat an center console. Flores was detained at that time.

When the deputy returned to the vehicle to question the driver, he saw an infant and teenager in the backseat, and asked that all parties exit the vehicle.

The deputy allegedly found marijuana in the seat Flores had been sitting in.

Flores was arrested for marijuana possession and contributing to the deliquency of a minor.

The driver was issued a citation for failing to carry a license while operating a vehicle and was released from the scene.

DCF was notified of the situation.
