LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Anonymous donors have now upped the reward to $12,000 for information leading to the arrest of Army veteran Mario Hughes' killer.

Two months ago, an anonymous donor pledged $5,000 towards the reward for information leading to an arrest. Today, that same donor has upped their contribution to $10,000 in hopes of enacting justice for the person responsible for this horrendous crime, and closure for a family still mourning Hughes’ loss. In addition to the $10,000, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is offering $1,000 in reward money, as is Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.

Anyone with information on the murder of Mario Hughes is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
