FORT MYERS, Fla. -  Fort Myers Police Department responded to an armed robbery to the Family Dollar Store, located at 2222 Fowler Street.

There were no reports of injuries.

A man reportedly entered the store, brandished a gun and took an undisclosed amount of money from two people in the store. He also took an undisclosed amount of cash from the cash register and then fled.

Police searched the area with K9 officers and the helicopter.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the robbery suspect could be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
