NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla.- FWC has safely tranquilized the bear seen wandering in the Moody River Estates community this morning, and will relocate it to Highlands County. 

Lee County Sheriff's deputies rushed to the area just over the Caloosahatchee Bridge from Downtown Fort Myers this morning after residents called in the sighting.

Earlier this week, two bears were spotted in Cape Coral.
