DELAND, Fla. (AP) - Deputies say two men robbed a central Florida couple after tricking them into believing they were law enforcement officers.

Two men dressed in black knocked on the couple's door Thursday night. When the 62-year-old woman opened the door, the men came into the house and claimed they were looking for someone who was on the loose.

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office says the intruders tied up the woman and her 82-year-old husband and took money and jewelry, including a necklace they snatched off the woman's neck.

Officials say the intruders left the house. Investigators are searching for them.
