LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Kemar Johnston, the suspected leader of a notorious Cape Coral gang, will not get a new trial.

Johnston is serving a life sentence for killing and burning the bodies of two Cape Coral teens in 2006.

Last week, Johnston's lawyers argued that his original defense team did not defend him properly, and asked for a new trial.

Today, a Lee County judge denied that request.
