LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Minor league players for the Minnesota Twins have unveiled their brand new digs! WINK News has a look at part of a nearly $50 million upgrade to Hammond Stadium.

Education, training and development are important for any career, and the Twins are putting that concept into practice by pouring millions of dollars into a brand new minor league development center. The Twins minor league facility has dorms, study rooms, a cafeteria and game rooms. Each dorm room is themed according to the room number. For instance, room number seven has pictures of Twins all-star Joe Mauer, who wears number 7.

The players can live, eat, and relax all in the same place. The organization says it promotes team unity.

The dorms are paid for by the Twins, but Lee County is footing the bill for the common rooms and stadium renovations.
