NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla.- Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help tracking down a man who robbed another man standing in line at a convenience store late Tuesday night.

According to detectives, the victim was waiting to pay for his purchases at the Circle K, located at 2170 Laurel Lane, just before midnight on May 27th. As he pulled out his wallet, an unknown white male walked through the front door of the store, grabbed the victim’s cash, then fled the scene on foot, running northbound on McDaniel Drive. The suspect was a passenger in a white Ford Explorer which had just pulled up to the gas pumps. The car took off as soon as the robber charged out the front door.

The suspect is described as being in his early to mid 20s and between 5’7” – 5’9”.
