LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Firefighters are working to figure out what caused a devastating house fire 1:30 a.m. along the 8,000 block of Cypress Drive South.

No one was inside at the time, but the house is a complete loss. The people who live there are out of town on vacation.

Firefighters from the San Carlos Park and Estero fire departments responded to the fire, and are investigating a cause.

They believe the fire started in the upstairs attic area of the home.

South Trail Fire Department and Lee County EMS assisted. In all, 29 first responders worked on the fire.
