FORT MYERS, Fla.,- It was the trip of a lifetime for these World War II and Korean War Veterans. The dream to visit these war monuments, now a reality. They left this morning with a crowd of military supporters here at the airport, sending them off and now they have come back after a busy day touring Washington D.C. monuments.

The Honor Flight is a way to give thanks for the dedication these men and women have shown for our country. You see, the time they served was during the Korean War and World War II, the memories, the days on the battlefield and the fellow soldiers they lost-- are never forgotten, that's why the honor flights to visit the War Monuments in D.C. are so important.

Now, this trip is completely free for the Veteran's and by their side is a guardian for the day.
