COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- Less than 24 hours after being convicted of Second Degree Murder, a Naples man is asking for a new trial based on new evidence.

In a motion filed by John Orr's attorney today, it states they became aware of a new witness during jury deliberations. It says this witness' testimony would have probably changed the verdict because it corroborates with Orr's story from what happened that night.

A jury found the 39-year-old guilty of stabbing Jon Josephs to death in October 2011.

Orr is scheduled to be sentenced in July. He faces up to life in prision.
