CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Cape Coral Police detectives arrested a 34-year-old man after finding 221 bags of synthetic marijuana and $14,149 in cash, while serving a search warrant at 432 SE 23rd Terrace.

The search warrant was served after several complaints from concerned citizens about suspicious activity at this residence led to undercover drug buys at the home.

One neighbor tells WINK News, "The whole neighborhood was aware of it," he says. "We didn't know exactly what he was doing, but it was quite obvious he was dealing stuff."

The resident, Mohammad Kadir,, was arrested based on probable cause that had been developed, for the Possession and Sale of Synthetic Marijuana, the Use of a 2-way Wireless Communication Device to Facilitate a Felony, and Child Neglect Without Great Bodily Harm (conducting drug transactions with a child in the home).

Kadir provided a post-Miranda confession to Detectives that he had been selling synthetic marijuana for about the past month.

WINK News went to Kadir's home.  We spoke with him and asked if he wanted to tell his side of this story.  He told us he had no comment.
