LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- Lee County Sheriff's deputies are searching for the suspect who allegedly tried to kidnap a 14-year-old girl at the intersection of Columbus Blvd. S. and Milwaukee Blvd. as she waited for her school bus yesterday morning.

The victim told deputies that she heard what sounded like a vehicle behind her around 9:00 a.m., but that she didn't turn around. She then reportedly felt someone grab her upper left arm from behind and start to pull. The victim said she fought back, out of reaction, punching the suspect in the face and kicking the suspect in the groin before running home.

The victim described the suspect as wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and white, red and black Air Jordan shoes. She said he was about 5'10 with black, medium-length hair and had a circular tattoo. He was allegedly driving an older-model, white Saturn.

If you have any information, you are asked to call SWFL Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS.
