ENGLEWOOD, Fla.- The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office is attempting to identify a man who allegedly stole beer from a convenience store over the weekend.

On Sunday, a man in his mid-20s entered the Circle K Store, located at 2035 Beach Road, walked to the beer cooler and selected a six-pack of Bud-Light, a six-pack of Bud-Light Lime and a 12-pack of Bud Light beer.

The man stood in line for a short time while holding the items, but then put the 12-pack of beer on the floor and left the store with the two six-packs without paying for them. It is unknown how he left or in what direction.

The man is described as having a goatee, wearing a white hat, light blue T-shirt, dark shorts and sandals.

Anyone with information concerning the identity of this man is asked to please call the Sheriff’s Office at (941) 639-2101 (ask for district detectives), or Crime Stoppers at 800-780-TIPS (8477).
