NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla.- Five years old and playing in a scary spot he shouldn't have been, that's what Lee County Deputies said about Andrea Gordon's son. According to an arrest report obtained by WINK News, a driver "...had to swerve her vehicle to avoid striking the child" on Pondella Road. The woman stopped and brought him back to his home where Deputies said Gordon "...was unresponsive (passed out) and she was unable to be awakened."

Eventually once she woke up, Deputies said "Gordon appeared to be intoxicated..." and even admitted to heavily drinking the night before because of a fight she had with her ex, the child's father. Investigators said the home had a "...Strong odor of burnt marijuana. Multiple empty beer cans, and bottles were inside the residence and in front of the residence..."

WINK News is learning this isn't the first time the young boy was found alone in the street. Deputies said he was riding his bike on the same road back in April when he was four. Gordon allegedly said she didn't know how long he had been gone.

WINK News pulled her record, Gordon was arrested once before in Lee County back in 2011 for battery.
