LEE COUNTY, Fla.- A 19-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 60s is expected in a Lee County courtroom today.      

William Pennebaker is charged with armed burglary and sexual battery for last month's alleged attack in Pine Manor.

The Lee County Sheriff's Special Victim's Unit used forensic evidence to link Pennebaker to the assault. The attack happened on Fifth Avenue in the Pine Manor community, near Page Field April 21st.

Deputies released a sketch of the suspect. Now, they're confirming that man is William Pennebaker. He is accused of breaking into a 62-year-old woman's home. Threatening her with a knife and forcing her to have sex with him.

Deputies said this happened around 5:00 a.m. when the woman's granddaughter was sleeping nearby. Overall, it took about 18 days for deputies to make an arrest.

Pennebaker does have criminal history. He's been arrested for burglary and grant theft. While in court today, Pennebaker will again face charges for sexual battery and armed burglary.

Pennebaker faces life in prison.
