CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FL- The Cape Coral Fire Department says a seaplane made a crash landing in Charlotte Harbor Sunday afternoon about two miles south of Burnt Store Marina and a 1/4 mile offshore. According to Public Information Officer Michael Heeder the landing was hard enough to flip the plane over. A passing boater pulled the pilot from the water. The Pilot was not injured. Crews were able to drag the plane to a sandbar in the harbor. Count on Wink News to continue to bring you the latest information.
