COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - A local man bought a winning powerball ticket worth nearly $150 million. The manager tells WINK News he came in and checked his numbers Thursday morning.

Now, he just needs to claim it.

There was lots of excitement in the air at E's Country North on Immokalee Road.

The winning powerball ticket from Wednesday night was purchased there. The jackpot $148.8 million.

"We wish this would happen more often" said Wendy Turley, the manager of E's Country North.

And the odds of this happening, " 1 in 175 million" according to John Cyr, who is the regional manager for the Florida Lottery. He said the winner can cash out on a lump sum payment of $86.9 million."This is gong to be life changing for the winner 100%."

The owners of the store also make out, Cyr said they'll get $60,000 once the ticket is claimed.

So what can you buy for that money? Cyr said "you could buy anything."

"You could buy this dealership and still have money left over" said Gabriel Galasso at Naples Bentley.

If you're a car enthusiast, you can roll around Collier County in this Rolls Royce Phantom, but it will cost you nearly$440,000. At more than $148 million you could buy 33 of the Phantoms.

But if you're wanting to spend that money to purchase a home, you can buy Larry Birds vacation house in Venetian Bay. It goes for $4.8 million and you'd still have plenty left over.

Cyr said the winner have 60 days to claim the cash lump sun. Otherwise the winner has 18- days to claim it for annually installments.
