PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - The Fifth Annual Charlotte Challenge will be held Saturday, May 3rd at 8:30 AM at the YMCA’s Dotzler Outdoor Center, 22801 Bayshore Rd., Charlotte Harbor.

Teams of four compete in seven events - archery, basketball shooting, canoe port and paddle, corn hole, darts, obstacle course, and tug of war.

Total points for the seven events will determine the winner. $500 is the first place prize, $1000 in total cash prizes based on a full field of 24 teams.

The event is put on by the YMCA’s Y’s Men’s Club, and raises money for youth programs in Charlotte County. The club is asking teams to sign up by Friday, May 2.
