FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Fort Myers police are investigating a pair of shootings that left a home and car with bullet holes. Police say the two shootings happened minutes apart and blocks away from each other on opposite sides of Martin Luther King Junior Blvd. near Fowler St.

WINK News was at the first scene Palm Ave. and Dunbar St. where police say someone fired shots into a house. No one was injured. Moments later, police say someone opened fire on a car at Velasco and Economy Streets.

Detectives say the two scenes are connected, but they aren't saying if anyone is in custody.
