FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is assisting the Fort Myers Police Department in investigating a late night murder.

FDLE has confirmed a man was shot and killed on Wednesday night around 10:30 at Monte Vista St. and Marlyn Rd. Fort Myers Police have identified the victim as 40-year-old Tony Seay.

Police found Seay suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

FDLE says Wednesday night's shooting happened near Fort Myers High school, Edison Park Creative and Expressive Arts Elementary School, and Lee Memorial Hospital.
