NAPLES, Fla.- As the tourist season gets ready to come to an end, the Naples City Council is discussing parking options to help ease parking pains downtown.

During today's city council meeting, the council voted to look at possibly expanding the parking garage on 6th Avenue South.

City staff will look at parking options like having a developer build the expanded garage and give the city leasing options.

An expansion would create more than 100 new parking spaces on the eastern side of downtown Naples.
