LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested an Estero High School teacher yesterday morning, for allegedly driving under the influence at 7:00 a.m.

Nancy Vaughn, 55, was arrested after failing sobriety tests, and submitting to breathalyzer tests that registered .258 and .273 at 9:11 a.m., according to her arrest report.

Vaughn allegedly?told deputies she hadn't had anything to drink, and that she was going 45 miles per hour when she was actually driving 20 miles per hour.

Vaughn was stopped after LCSO received a call of a reckless driver on Imperial Pkwy. at Yerry St.

According to the Lee County School District, Vaughn will be placed on an administrative reassignment (outside of a school) while they conduct an internal investigation.
