COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- WINK News checked, a 5th grade teacher is out of jail after being arrested Monday for cocaine possession and DUI. She's 43 year old Amy Daniels. According to her arrest report obtained by WINK News, the Lake Park Elementary School Teacher was pulled over in Naples after she was spotted "weaving within the lane." Deputies said they noticed "a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from her breath." And when they asked her to step out of the car "she used the vehicle door for support and stumbled out of the vehicle." The report goes on to say Daniels refused to take field sobriety tests. And once she was booked into the jail, deputies discovered two small baggies of cocaine.

WINK News spoke to Daniels neighbors who say they're shocked by her arrest.

"I'm strictly amazed especially in this neighborhood, I mean, really amazed. Oh my god, it's disgusting."

"I taught for 19 years, so I mean you gotta watch what you do. Elementary school they're more maleable its bad. That's a shame."

The Collier County School District said she has been reassigned to the Administrative Center while the Sheriff's Office investigates.
