LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- The Lee County Sheriff's Office has two people in custody for robbing a 7-Eleven early Thursday morning.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. in the 6300 block of Beau Drive, just west of Hancock Bridge Pkwy. and U.S. 41. According to LCSO a female told store employees she had a weapon,  then fled on foot with another male. 

Deputies caught both suspects moments later at the Knights Inn just a few blocks down. 

The investigation is ongoing. Count on WINK News to bring you the suspects name as soon as they are released.
