LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- Two women were seriously injured ater a crash on Joel Blvd. at Greenbriar Blvd. just before 8:00 a.m.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Elaine Williams, 53, ran the stop sign and collided with the vehicle 49-year-old Robin Manfredi was driving.

Williams' vehicle entered the grass shoulder and overturned.

Manfredi's vehicle also entered the grass shoulder, and came to its final rest in the woods.

Though they were wearing their seat belts, both drivers were seriously injured and transported to Lee Memorial Hospital.

Williams was cited for failing to stop.

Alcohol was not a factor.
