FORT MYERS, Fla. - Fort Myers Police have identified the victim in a weekend shooting at Ford and Thomas Streets.

The victim in Saturday night's shooting has been identified as 36-year-old Timothy Brown. Brown is in stable condition recovering at this time.

Police tell WINK News that Brown was shot at least once. He started running and fell into a canal that runs along Ford Street. That's where police found him unresponsive.  Officer Louissaint and Officer Cates began CPR on Brown who was not breathing and unconscious. Officers were able to revive him while waiting for Lee County Emergency Medical Service.

Police are still searching for the suspect. They've not yet released a description of who they are looking for.
